Pets Fur People’s Pet of the Week | New

Skip is a great lover. He was turned over to Pets Fur People due to his owner’s health and is available for adoption at The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People in Tyler.

Skip would thrive as a member of an active family with older children due to his size. He will return home with a food starter kit, collar and leash, and a half-price certificate on Basic Obedience from the Tyler Obedience Training Club.

Big Skip weighs around 80 pounds and has been sterilized. He is aware of the start of vaccinations, including rabies, and has been microchipped for identification.

For more information on adopting this gentle giant, call 903-597-2471 or visit the Humane Society’s Pets Fur People website – petsfurpeople.org.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pets Fur People is closed to the public and performs adoptions by appointment only. Adoption hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – closed for lunch from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The Humane Society’s Pets Fur People is the only deathless brick-and-mortar refuge in East Texas. They offer routine vaccinations except for rabies to the public for dogs and cats.
