Medical potty for puppies? Pet Advocacy Group says yes

By Nicole Rosenthal (May 20, 2022, 9:12 p.m. EDT) – A new advocacy group supporting cannabis approved for pets has announced its support for a California bill to protect veterinarians who recommend the products from reprimands medical advice.

If passed, AB 1885 would change language in the California statute to clarify that state veterinarians will not be subject to disciplinary action by the state veterinary medical board if they recommend cannabis products approved for use in pets for health purposes.

Advocacy group Pets Cannabis Coalition says that due to unclear pet and cannabis laws, most veterinarians are hesitant to make cannabis recommendations for pets currently suffering from pain, anxiety, seizures , nausea or other ailments because of the risk…
