Cannabis Store Bringing Sports Legends, Car Show, Pet Adoption, Fireworks to Walled Lake – The Oakland Press

Greenhouse of Walled Lake kicks off its ‘Second Summer of Cannabis’ celebration with a variety of activities on June 25; it will end with fireworks over the lake.

The free, family-friendly event will be held outdoors, in front of Greenhouse located at the corner of East Walled Lake Drive and Pontiac Trail.

The planned composition:

• 9:00 a.m. to noon – Local Pets Save Happy Paws Haven, Last Day Dog Rescue, Do Only Good Animal Rescue, Michigan Pug Rescue, and Saving Destiny offer pet adoptions from good homes.
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Meet & Greet with Detroit Lions Hall of Famer Calvin “Megatron” Johnson and Primitiv’s Rob Sims
• 1 to 2 p.m. — Meet & Greet with former NFL star, Woodward sportscaster and University of Michigan football legend Braylon Edwards
• 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Classic Car Show, with all proceeds going to the Vets Returning Home charity for veterans
• At night — Greenhouse and the Walled Lake Civic Fund present fireworks over Walled Lake

Greenhouse owner Jerry Millen invites the public to attend.

“I love the opportunity to give back to our communities and bring some of these legendary sports celebrities to the Walled Lake and Oakland County area,” Millen said. “Please join us. It’s a free event to get back to normal and have a good time.
